Our Mission
Today, the mission of Our Daily Rest reflects the passion and communal responsibility that brought those leaders together:

• To build a safe and nurturing facility where families and individuals can maintain their sense of well-being and dignity while rebuilding their lives
  
  
• To work with local agencies, churches, and businesses to help train and employ the temporarily homeless
  
  
• To ultimately help our clients find and secure affordable and permanent housing in order to re-establish their value – to themselves and our community.

Building a Solution
This facility will serve as a transitional base while families and individuals rebuild the foundation necessary to get back on their feet and back into our community. It will also serve as a planning center where families and individuals, working with area case managers, will develop Individualized Care Plans to ensure their transition is as quick, smooth and seamless as possible.

In addition to providing shelter, Our Daily Rest is also building a support network within the community. In partnership with this network, Our Daily Rest will provide supportive services such as

2. Affordable Housing Assistance
3. Financial and Family Counseling
4. Transportation
